Extenders to rock London. Again.
Check out Coming Events for our next gig. Bush Hall - apparently it's quite a swish venue. Looking forward to it.
Extenders support The Underbelly's first gig
We had a great time supporting the first gig of Brighton band The Underbelly late in 2007 at the Hare & Hounds, Brighton. Check out their myspace site - http://www.myspace.com/therealunderbelly.
Back in Camden again?
Yes that's right, The Extenders headed back to Camden once more. This time at The Dublin Castle and it would seem that the folk of London like us. A big thank you to all those that came to see us, it was really nice to see some familiar faces.
What's that? You missed the gig? Well, why don't you check out the photos in the gallery then you won't feel so bad :-p
From Camden to Cla'm (via Islington!)
That's right, The Extenders have gone from strength to Strong Bow in London. After initial success at the Camden Underworld, The Extenders packed out Islingtons Hope & Anchor.
Then, following a gig at their spiritual home (Cable Club @ The Pressure Point), The Extenders whipped up a storm at the Clapham Grand.
The Extenders Rock Camden
Their first gig in London was a resounding sucess. While they played, the atmosphere in Camdens Underworld club was electric. Cheers from the crowd throughout seemed to fire up the Brighton four piece. Let's hope this is the first of many dates for this upcoming band.
The Extenders Release Their First Ep
The Extenders, the latest bright young things to emerge from the Brighton music scene, have marked their coming of age with the release of their first EP.
The untitled 'EP' contains four tracks. Three of the tracks (“Sound”, “Wash the rain away” and “Chaser”) are regularly touted by fans as their favourite live songs, while “Ray Davies” is a (dare we say it) epic song that the band wanted to do justice to in the studio.
The Extenders have a simple two-vocals, two-guitars, one rhythm section set up, but the EP will testify that their songs are anything but simple. Their sound continues to develop with each new song, and their fan-base continues to develop with each well-received gig.
Fresh from wowing audiences at the EP launch party at Brighton’s Pressure Point club, the band have developed a taste for live performance and have added nights at the Camden Underworld and the Pressure Point’s popular Cable Club night to their ‘to do’ list this year. Expect further dates to follow.
